Over the past few years, taxonomies and transition plans have emerged as two sides of the same coin — the essential tools enabling investors to assess the credibility of companies’ transition commitments and of financial instruments marketed as green or transition. Together, they are becoming central to mobilising credible transition finance.
Objectives
Assess progress and challenges in the development and implementation of transition plans by large companies and financial institutions, identifying what drives credibility and where key gaps remain.
Explore the evolving policy landscape — from disclosures to requirements within real economy policies— shaping transition planning and disclosure across jurisdictions.
