Engage participants in a dynamic, collaborative session focused on exploring how young people can drive sustainable practices within the sports world. This activity invites attendees to share their perspectives, brainstorm innovative solutions, and co-create actionable ideas that make sports more environmentally conscious. Through group interactions and guided discussions, participants will have the opportunity to voice their ideas and contribute to a shared vision for sustainable sports.

Objectives:

General:

• Awareness and Education: How do young people perceive sustainability in sports? What changes would they like to see?
• Sustainable Practices in Sports: Sharing examples of sustainable initiatives within sports, both on individual and collective levels.
• Innovation and Technology: Brainstorming innovative solutions to promote sustainability in sports facilities, equipment, and logistics.
• The Role of Sports Institutions: Discussing how federations, clubs, and organisations can foster a culture of sustainability in sports.
• Challenges and Opportunities: Identifying the main challenges young people face in promoting greener sports and the opportunities to overcome them.

Specific:

• To showcase initiatives led by two football clubs to mobilise citizens around climate action.
• To illustrate how games, including football and other sports can be powerful tools for driving climate action.
