The Ibero-American Business Network for Green Growth (IABN) was launched at COP29 in response to the urgent challenges posed by climate change, environmental degradation, and the need for sustainable economic development across Latin America. The IABN’s COP30 campaign calls on governments to create the conditions for an inclusive, prosperous and nature-positive energy transition in support of the global goal of tripling renewables by 2030.

 

Objectives

Present the Ibero American Business Network for Green Growth’s Business Statement.

Dialogue with business leaders, governments, and partners at the forefront of climate action to show how Latin American businesses play a key role in the global agenda and are leading the way on renewable roll out.

Call on governments to help unlock major regional and global benefits by prioritising the tripling of renewable energy and doubling of energy efficiency.
