Objectives:

The urgent need to address climate change while fostering sustainable development has led to the emergence of a critical intersection: the climate-development nexus. Financing is essential for unlocking opportunities and scaling up initiatives that can meet the dual objectives of climate action and economic development. With the support of public and private actors, climate finance can be effectively mobilized to deliver transformative impacts across regions. This one-hour event aims to bring together key stakeholders to discuss strategies, challenges, and opportunities in financing the climate-development agenda.

Expected Outcomes:

  • Enhanced understanding of the roles of different actors in financing climate-development initiatives.
  • Identification of strategies to scale up investment and improve access to climate finance.
  • Strengthening of partnerships across public and private sectors to support sustainable development goals.

Target Audience:

  • Development finance professionals, policymakers, private sector representatives, climate finance experts, and NGOs.

This event will provide a platform for sharing experiences, fostering collaboration, and exploring innovative financing solutions to address the global climate and development challenges.
